Trump's Chief Artificial Intelligence Advisor, Krishnan, will leave at the end of the month

Golden Finance reports that on June 7th, according to informed sources, the technology investor Sri Ram Krishnan, who led the pro-industry AI policies of the Trump administration, plans to leave the White House at the end of this month to establish an external organization aimed at influencing technology policy. Krishnan is one of the architects of the government’s "AI Action Plan," which provides a blueprint for relaxing regulations on new technologies and promoting the construction of nationwide data centers. He also participated in drafting an executive order to limit state-level regulation of AI capabilities. However, advanced AI models like Mythos from Anthropic have demonstrated the ability to discover software security vulnerabilities, raising concerns among government officials about the risk of cyberattacks and prompting some to reassess the deregulatory approach promoted by Krishnan and others.
