Recently, everyone gets anxious just talking about unlocking, staring at on-chain addresses counting money... But honestly, what you see as "on-chain" might also be delayed. Behind wallets/browsers, there are RPCs, nodes, and indexing services feeding data; if a node syncs slowly, RPC gets congested, or the indexer is still rebuilding, the transfer records you see might be several minutes or even longer behind the actual events. Even more outrageous, the same transaction can show different times on different platforms—you think you're watching live, but you're actually watching a delayed replay.

For someone like me who likes to place extreme stop-loss orders, this is quite concerning: others might think "it just dropped," but I might already be tailing behind. So now I prefer to check multiple sources and occasionally run my own node (only to find it also gets stuck, which is quite real). Anyway, don’t treat "on-chain display" as an all-seeing eye, especially on the day of unlocking—if the data is half a beat slow, that’s enough to teach you a lesson.
