A few days after the ceasefire agreement was signed, Israeli airstrikes on Lebanese military vehicles resulted in the death of one general and two soldiers.

According to the Lebanese military, on the 6th, the Israeli military carried out an airstrike on a military vehicle in the Nabatieh region in southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of a brigadier general, a captain, and another soldier. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the attack as a serious violation of Lebanese sovereignty and international law.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed they carried out the strike, stating that there was "suspicious activity" in the area where the vehicle was located.
