If you are going through a low point in life, here is a useful action guide I believe in:


1. Stop making major decisions. When emotions are low, the brain amplifies risks and pain.
Don't impulsively resign. Don't impulsively break up. Don't impulsively invest. Don't impulsively start a business.
First, get through this emotional cycle.
Many problems are not resolved because you stop feeling anxious, but because you see the problem clearly once the anxiety subsides.
2. Narrow your life down to today.
