Golden Finance reports that on June 5th, according to Securitize's announcement, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially declared the effectiveness of its Form S-4 registration statement for the merger transaction with SPAC company Cantor Equity Partners II. This signifies a key milestone in Securitize's listing process, with CEPT shareholders scheduled to hold a special meeting for voting on June 29, 2026. If approved, the transaction is expected to be completed shortly thereafter.
After the transaction is completed, the merged company is expected to operate under the name "Securitize Corp." and be listed on the New York Stock Exchange, with the stock ticker symbol "SECZ".
