I’m not great at lecturing about security, but when it comes to contract authorization for unlimited approval, I genuinely treat it like the “turning off the lights before bed” move: use it and then revoke it, otherwise it just keeps nagging at me. To put it bluntly, a lot of traps aren’t caused by clicking the wrong link—it’s because, in a previous instance, you were being too convenient and granted permissions that were too broad. Later on, protocol upgrades, the front end being compromised with malware, stolen keys… all of that can come through the same loophole. Recently, the group has been circulating talk about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and all kinds of rumors about “de-pegging,” which makes people anxious—but I feel differently: emotions are emotions; what I can control is clearing out authorizations and splitting up my wallets. I like picking up less mainstream protocols too, but the more obscure they are, the more slowly you have to go—don’t let an unlimited approval drain every bit of patience you’ve saved up like seashells.
