What to do after a liquidation?
In this market, the moment most people get liquidated, they are definitely extremely painful and very pessimistic.
Really, I understand it too well.
First and foremost: if you still have any other money in hand at this time, do not go all-in again, thinking you can make it back in one shot— that’s not called adding to your position, that’s called continuing to gamble.
Your mindset is already broken, the more you gamble, the more you lose, losing even more.
Stop, take a break, go to sleep.
Honestly, no one can trade futures without getting liquidated at some point.
If someone tells you they’ve never been liquidated, I’d definitely think they’re a liar; I’ve been liquidated countless times myself.
The hard part is how to turn things around after liquidation.
Retail traders really find it difficult to bounce back.
A few days ago, I saw a guy turn 50k into 1.9 million, without withdrawing a penny, and then went to zero overnight, losing all his hair.
Think about it— for someone with a regular job, a liquidation could mean several months to a year’s salary, and some even took out loans, losing several years’ worth of money.
So, if you want multiple chances to bounce back, you need a stable income channel.
That’s why many people keep talking about “infinite bullets”—
the more bullets you have, the more chances you get to gamble, and only then can you sustain a certain success rate.
And also, don’t despair.
You might not believe it, but many people feel more grounded after liquidation.
The hardest part is actually just before the liquidation, feeling like a fishbone in your throat, an arrow on the string;
once the liquidation happens, dust settles, and people become rational.
Of course, it still takes a few days to recover from the pain, which is normal— just accept it.
The only truly useful advice is: risk and reward must be symmetrical.
If you want to earn bigger multiples, you have to bear bigger risks.
Recognize the worst possible outcome in advance, and the anxiety and emotional swings during the process will be much less.
Reaching this point, there are only two choices:
Either you still want to achieve big results in this market, then grit your teeth and hold on;
or you give up, exit the game, and return to the life you’re supposed to have.
But no matter what you choose, brother, I wish you well. #分享美股交易赢英伟达股票
