Recently, the airdrop season has heated up again, and task platforms are cracking down more and more on anti-witch activities. The points system is forcing the grifters to treat it like clocking in at work... I find it a bit funny to watch, but also a little anxious: with cross-chain bridges, if something goes wrong, even the "labor results" could be wiped out with a single click.

What I care about more now are the signals, which are actually quite simple: who is signing the multi-signature on the bridge, are they a familiar group; is there a fallback mechanism if the oracle malfunctions; and also, don’t complain about waiting for confirmations—until the chain is stable, I’d rather miss out on some efficiency. To put it plainly, cross-chain isn’t just about transfers; it’s about shifting trust somewhere else, and the plan should assume it might fail. Anyway, I follow the exit plan—if the confirmation count isn’t enough, I don’t move, so I won’t be startled awake by notifications in the middle of the night.
