The most bizarre thing now isn't a particular asset's decline.

It's that almost everything is falling.
Stocks are falling.
Gold is falling.
Silver is falling.
Cryptocurrencies are falling.
Bonds are falling.
Oil is falling.
Even houses are falling.
At this point, the most worth asking isn't:
Why is it falling?
But:
Where has the money gone?
If risk assets are falling, it indicates funds are seeking safety.
But safe-haven assets are also falling.
If commodities are falling, it shows demand is weakening.
But bonds are also falling.
When all assets are dropping together, the market's real shortage might not be opportunity.
It's liquidity.
Many people think they're bottom-fishing.
Actually, they're catching falling knives in a liquidity crisis.
