Just now I really scared myself with a cold sweat… When copying the address, I accidentally added an extra character, and that on-chain transfer looked like a “coincidence”: A→B→C just happened to match a few wallets I was watching. I almost started imagining some secret code fund flow. Calm down and break down the path: first check if they are the same batch of consolidated addresses, then see if the middle layer is a hot wallet/exchange routing contract, and finally compare timestamps and gas. Many so-called “mysterious transfers” are actually arbitrage, consolidation, or bots switching routes.

Honestly, the blockchain isn’t short of stories, what’s missing is an explanation of the chain… I, who think 30 seconds before placing an order, am actually more easily scared by myself. By the way, I’ve been noticing the recent NFT royalty disputes, which also seem similar: as secondary liquidity increases, the paths become more complex, making it harder to track creator income. Everyone thinks the other side is “stealing,” but in many cases, it’s just rules that weren’t clearly written. That’s all for now, I won’t randomly copy and click tonight.
