For the past two days, I’ve been repeatedly interacting with airdrops. The more I do it, the more it feels like I’m stuck in my own mental self-conflict: I’m afraid of missing out, but I’m also afraid of getting “reverse-exploited.” Now I basically have one rule: only do it if I can understand the process and the costs; otherwise, I’d rather miss out. To put it plainly, the more “simple” the project team makes it, the more I want to look closely at the fine print and the timeline—because many traps aren’t in the contract itself; they’re in the execution details.

Staking unlocks and the token unlock calendar have recently been brought up again and again. The moment someone mentions “selling pressure” in the group, everyone collectively panics. But I think you shouldn’t treat the calendar like an alarm clock. If there really is going to be a dump, it’s not something you can avoid with just a couple of clicks of interaction. Instead, don’t let FOMO drive you: the budget is set in stone, the number of attempts is set in stone—don’t send gas just to “look active.”

Not long ago, I even followed an account that kept shouting “don’t stop doing interactions.” After seeing that so much, my mindset started to feel a bit unsteady. Later, in one instance, he turned around and said, “Don’t ask—ask and it won’t be guaranteed,” and I quietly unfollowed him… In any case, I trust the voting records and the proposal change logs more now. People who are loud with their talk are just loud talk. I’ll go with the flow. That’s it for now.
