Mars Finance News, June 6 — On June 6, it was reported that Chongqing Saidou Technology Co., Ltd. (short for “Saidou Technology”), in which Saileis Group holds a stake, will release a brand-new automobile brand on the evening of June 9. It is understood that this is an automobile brand formed through in-depth collaboration between Saidou Technology and Volcano Engine, a subsidiary/brand under ByteDance. The collaboration will explore the limitless possibilities of automobiles defined by AI. According to people familiar with the matter, Saidou Technology’s new brand will gradually release information in stages according to its LOGO, English name, and Chinese name. Previously, media reports said that Saidou Technology and Volcano Engine under ByteDance have carried out in-depth collaboration, and the first model is expected to be launched within this year. It may be a crossover vehicle positioned between an SUV and a sedan, offering both pure-electric and extended-range dual powertrains. The related models mainly involve vehicle cockpit interaction large models developed in collaboration with Volcano Engine, and the intelligent driving solutions may also involve cooperation with Yuanrong Qixing.
