I tried once to take that little bit I’d originally invested steady and safe and use it to play around with—then restake it. I thought, “shared security” sounds pretty convincing, and the returns could stack up an extra layer… But the longer I stared at those numbers on the screen, the more I got hooked. To put it plainly, what’s stacking isn’t just the returns—it’s an illusion: an extra layer of contract, an extra layer of rules, and if something goes wrong, you don’t even know who you should blame. In the end, I withdrew anyway, as a note to myself: the more you spend on returns, the thinner your sense of security becomes. Recently, hardware wallets are out of stock, and phishing links are flying everywhere. I’d rather earn a little less now than go click through a bunch of unfamiliar authorizations just for that small added bonus. Live first, that’s it.
