I just unfollowed an account. It’s not that what they said was wrong— it’s just that after hearing “attention is mining” for so long, my brain automatically plays the delayed alert tone from the oracle’s price feed: You think you’re looking at the market, but the market has already left by a beat. On-chain liquidations are pretty much the same—if the price feed is half a beat late, it’s like your position gets shoved in a dark room; by the time you realize it, it’s already blown up for you to see… To put it simply, I’m more afraid of “information delay” as a soft knife. Whether I follow or unfollow, I’ll just treat it as switching myself to a faster price-feeding source—at least so my emotions don’t get wiped out by liquidations. Anyway, I only use small leverage and stay up less late nights. For now, that’s it.
