Lately I've been really focused on LST/re-staking, but upon reflection, the gains aren't just falling from the sky... To put it simply, it's about taking the original staking consensus rewards and layering on an extra "lending out security / reselling the tickets" money, plus some early project subsidies.

The problem is: what happens when the subsidies stop? You're holding derivative notes, and chain on runs, de-pegging, contract liquidation, or even validators at the base layer being penalized and confiscated—these chain reactions can be quite frightening.
And recently, everyone has been complaining about validator income, MEV, and fair ordering, which I can understand. The more you stack the profits, the more you can't avoid the "who queues first gets the meat" scenario.
Anyway, I'm just waiting for confirmation, a pullback, and to think things through: trying a small position is okay, but don’t treat it as risk-free savings… that’s all for now.
