Recently, many people have been saying "on-chain data keeps lagging," but honestly, it's not necessarily the chain itself that's slow; it's the layer you're viewing that's struggling. Indexers/Subgraphs need to scan through new blocks before presenting data to the frontend; if they encounter reorganization or miss a segment, they'll suddenly catch up. On the RPC side, it's more practical—when rate limiting kicks in, requests start queuing, so the transaction or pool status you see appears to be a bit behind. Over on L2, everyone argues about TPS, fees, and subsidies—what's more aggressive—but I think it's more like comparing whose data pipeline isn't clogged... I've been watching these routing and auction processes for a while, and my eyes get a bit sore, my neck stiff. Anyway, whenever I see someone say "just refresh and it'll be fine," I can't help but laugh.
