These days, there's been more talk about royalties in the secondary market, basically "smoother buying and selling" and "creators earning a living" clashing together. No one seems quite right: just shut it all down, and creators feel like they've been cut off; forcefully bind it, and liquidity gets stuck, and in the end, everyone goes to cheaper places to transact... Anyway, it's all human nature.

I'm now more willing to see royalties as a kind of "voluntary tipping + default politeness." Platforms shouldn't pretend to be dead; provide a clear toggle and display, so those willing to support can support, and those unwilling shouldn't be morally coerced. By the way, it reminds me that recently, modularization and the DAO layer are being talked about intensely, with developers all saying "the future is here," while users just have one expression: what does this have to do with me buying images... For now, let's leave it at that, and revisit after the next wave of emotions passes.
