Over the past two days, yet another bunch of testnet incentive groups and points-grinding groups are back in action, and everyone is guessing whether the mainnet will actually issue tokens… Plainly put, attention is the most expensive fuel— the more you stare at it, the easier it is to get swept along by the momentum. In the end, it’s not that you get your money cut; it’s that your time and emotions get cut instead.

Now I’m giving myself a “patch”: when a hot topic comes up, don’t rush in first—take a look at who’s pushing it and who’s stalling. Check whether the people chatting the loudest are genuinely doing work. Then ask one more thing: “If no tokens are issued, would I still do this?” If you can honestly say “yes,” then click around a couple of times. If you can’t, then just forget it—close Twitter and go eat. Anyway, missing a hot topic won’t mean you’ll lose any meat.
