I set a rule for myself: when evaluating whether a project is serious about its work, don’t just listen to their vision first, look at the track record of how they spend money from the treasury. Where the money is spent, how often, whether it aligns with milestones—honestly, that’s more truthful than a “roadmap.” The worst are those who say they’re developing while all expenses are for consultants and marketing, and delivery is always “next version.” Recently, AI agents and automated trading have been quite noisy, but I’m actually more concerned about whether they’ve clearly explained security details like permissions, keys, and contract upgrades, and whether they can withstand replication and auditing by others. Milestones can be just talk, but the ledger and delivery won’t be. Anyway, I’d rather go slower than be carried away by the noise.
