My transformation from a gambler to a "shareholder" — just one screenshot of my US stock holdings on Gate away

Previously, when I bought a coin in the crypto world, I never thought of myself as a shareholder. Because there was no cash flow, no voting rights, no dividends. Everyone was just betting on the next sucker to take over.

But after buying NVDA, my mindset changed. Although I only own 0.01 shares, theoretically I am a NVIDIA shareholder, with the right to attend the shareholder meeting, view detailed financial reports, and in the future, receive dividends.

Gate's stock detail page displays the dividend yield and ex-dividend date. NVDA's dividend yield isn't high because it's a growth stock; most of its earnings are reinvested in R&D, but it does increase dividends every year. With each dividend, Gate automatically deposits USDT into my account, no need to do anything.

How much can I get? 0.01 shares might only be worth a few cents. But this means something different to me: this isn't just taking over, it's dividends. Even if it's only a few cents, I feel satisfied.

A month ago, I was still betting on whether the next 100x meme coin would include me. A month later, looking at my US stock holdings on Gate, I think: will this 0.01 shares of NVDA become 0.02 shares next year?

If you're also a seasoned crypto veteran and starting to feel overwhelmed by the volatility, I suggest you try buying 0.01 shares of a company you like on Gate. Not to make money, but to experience what it feels like when you're no longer a gambler, but a tiny shareholder in a company — that sense of stability.
