Intel collaborates with Hitachi to promote automation of manufacturing facilities such as chips.

Intel will collaborate with Japan's Hitachi to improve the yield and energy efficiency of manufacturing facilities, including the American chip manufacturer's own factories. The two companies stated in a statement on Friday that Intel's wafer factories will use Hitachi's artificial intelligence service HMAX Energy. (Sina Finance)
