Abstract generation in progress
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that the three major memory chip manufacturers have been approved to supply the most advanced high-bandwidth products for Nvidia's AI accelerators.
This decision means SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics, and Micron Technology can begin mass production and supply of HBM4, the latest generation of chips used for Nvidia's AI accelerators.
These three companies dominate the global market for storage semiconductors used in computing, and have previously been fiercely competing for this business share.
Huang told reporters during his several-day visit to Seoul, "All three suppliers have been certified."
He added, "All three companies are in production and are competing to support Vera Rubin."
