Wu said that Mynth announced on Twitter that it will gradually cease operations and stop all services at 23:00 (UTC) on June 30, while also discontinuing support for the hosted infrastructure running Novaswap. Mynth stated that its original goal was to build a more secure cross-chain interoperability protocol, and its product Novaswap supported cross-chain swaps, but current usage has not reached the level necessary for sustainable operation and further expansion. It also cannot maintain its previous pace of innovation or extend to more blockchains in the future. Mynth claimed that user funds remain safe and are in a non-custodial state, requiring no action from users; before ceasing operations, cross-chain exchanges can still be processed normally, and the team will provide support on Discord until the end of July.

Another cross-chain track has folded, and the “safety” narrative can’t beat the size of real user numbers—pretty disappointing, honestly.

The fact that it's non-custodial is commendable; at least they didn't run off with a liquidity pool and exit disgracefully.
