Abstract generation in progress
Mars Finance News, at the main forum of Tencent Cloud AI Industry Application Conference, Tencent's Chief AI Scientist Yao Shunyu offered two core judgments about the second half of AI: First, AI is a long-term game, not a short-term window. He pointed out that some practitioners in Silicon Valley believe that the mentality of "hurry up and make money for two years and then retire" is not advisable. AI has just begun; ChatGPT and Claude Code will not be the only super applications. In the future, new product opportunities will continue to emerge, "today might be just like the early days of PCs in the 1970s." Second, AI will move toward diversity rather than a single path. Over the past few years, the industry has advanced along clear lines of pre-training, post-training, and agents, but in the future, beyond Coding Agents, many new directions such as multimodal and embodied intelligence are happening or about to happen. The entire world "still has a lot of space that hasn't been filled."
