ZachXBT warns against trading Rain Protocol, stating that its team address may be linked to DOP and TOMI.

Wu said that ZachXBT issued a warning advising users to avoid trading the prediction market project Rain Protocol (RAIN), citing that the project has few users, limited product development, lack of well-known backers, and the team has limited industry track record. ZachXBT stated that after tracking the on-chain addresses of the RAIN team, he found that the related funds originate from Gems hot wallets and centralized exchange deposit addresses, which have previously transferred funds for projects like Data Ownership Protocol (DOP) and TOMI, indicating possible overlaps between the teams. He also mentioned that the RAIN price appears to be manipulated on-chain through wallets related to the deployer and Uni V3 liquidity addresses. ZachXBT further pointed out that TOMI, DOP, and Sirin Labs can all be traced back to the controversial Israeli founder Moshe Hogeg, who was detained in 2021 for fraud and was charged by law enforcement in 2023 for involvement in a $290 million crypto fraud scheme.
