Lately I've been bombarded with a bunch of words like "data availability / ordering / finality," and to put it simply, I see a main thread: whether what you see as "already happened" really counts as something that will no longer change. Being able to see (the data is still there), how the queue is arranged (who's first, who's next), and the final decision (whether it can be overturned) are actually just different signposts on the same road.

My own mindset has also been updated: before, I would get impatient and curse the router when there was a bridge or delay; now I first ask—am I waiting for confirmation, or waiting for an "irreversible" event? And those on-chain data tools and tagging systems that are criticized for lag or misleading—sure, they look good in pictures, but don’t take "tagging" as the same as actual fact. Anyway, I now prefer to wait a little longer rather than confidently jumping to conclusions halfway through.
