Recently, there’s been more arguing about Layer 2: how big the TPS is, how low the fees are, how luxurious the ecosystem subsidies are… Honestly, all of these are like advertisements in an elevator, sounding lively, but don’t panic before something really happens. Focus on one main thread: where exactly is your transaction data stored, who is queuing, and does it finally count? Data availability is about “not keeping ledger evidence only in your own drawer”; ordering is about “who cuts in line”; finality is about “whether this can be reversed.” My mom even asked me yesterday: isn’t that just about speed and affordability? I told her half a sentence: fast is fast, but don’t be so fast that you can’t find the proof later… Anyway, I’d rather be slower now than get tricked again by something that looks “silky smooth.”
