Apple has finally loosened up, and AI Agents can run in iMessage. Poke's pay-per-user model is more considerate than Meta's, and with a valuation of 300 million, it still looks like it can go higher.

Crypto界网消息,Apple首次批准第三方AI代理接入商业短信平台,Poke以按用户付费模式登录iMessage。Headquartered in Palo Alto, startup Poke announced it has received official approval from Apple to connect, allowing users to initiate conversations directly within the built-in iMessage on iPhone. Poke aims to enable the general public without technical backgrounds to use intelligent agents via text messages; in addition to responding to user-initiated requests, Poke can automatically monitor users' schedules and emails and send proactive reminders. The partnership between Poke and Apple establishes a new business model, with the company paying channel fees to Apple based on user scale, at a rate lower than Meta's channel fees on WhatsApp. The team is currently valued at $300 million and recently completed a $10 million new funding round.
