Recently, the narrative of modularization and the DA layer has become popular again, developers are talking excitedly, while users are mostly confused... I personally judge whether a project is "reliable" not by some deep insights, but by checking three things first: GitHub, audit reports, and multi-signature upgrades.
I don't follow stars on GitHub, mainly look for consistent commits, whether issues are being responded to, and if the changes revolve around core modules; those sudden large updates or quiet periods usually make me skeptical at first. For audit reports, don’t just look at “pass,” I care more about what was found, whether it was fixed, and if old issues keep recurring. Multi-signature is even more practical: whose signatures are involved? How many keys can move funds or upgrade? Can delays be implemented? Basically, it’s about “who can change the rules with one click if something goes wrong.”
As for impulsive buying, I now have one habit: when I see a hype, I first close the trading page, then scan these three things. If I still want to buy after that, I’ll consider it... Most of the time, my emotions calm down, and anyway, missing out is more comfortable than risking a loss.
