Recently, there has been debate about whether secondary markets should be mandated to pay royalties. Frankly, I care more about whether the rules were clearly explained from the start and whether they were secretly changed later. Creators obviously want ongoing revenue sharing, but traders also do their calculations: the higher the fees, the thinner the liquidity, and in the end, everyone might suffer. If it really has to be done, I’d rather see it written into the chain with transparent permissions—who can change it, how it can be changed, whether it needs to be publicly disclosed after changes. Otherwise, claiming to support creators while secretly tweaking parameters with a single click feels pretty hypocritical.
By the way, regarding social mining and fan tokens—this “attention as mining” concept—I have some doubts… Attention is indeed valuable, but what’s valuable is trust, not just completing tasks. Someone even complained to me: “You look at a project like reviewing a contract.” I said, there’s no way around it; the money is on the chain, and one mistake can be remembered for half a year. Anyway, I only recognize clear rules and verifiable execution now. Passion is fine, but the numbers need to add up.
