Abstract generation in progress
Mars Finance News, June 5th, a well-known investment research organization SemiAnalysis released an investment research report yesterday stating that NVIDIA's next-generation AI server cluster Rubin NVL72 will make significant adjustments to its memory configuration. To address supply chain tensions and ensure timely delivery of Rubin cabinets, the capacity per cabinet has sharply decreased from the original plan of 55TB to 28TB. Additionally, most Rubin systems will use 96GB SOCAMM modules instead of the originally planned 192GB modules. Although SemiAnalysis founder, CEO, and chief analyst Dylan Patel later stated that "this is not a disaster," and the report itself did not intend to sensationalize or scare the market, the market reaction was intense. Yesterday, Micron's stock plummeted 7.7%, and today, SK Hynix in South Korea opened with an 8.32% plunge.
