The thing about modular chains, to put it plainly, the biggest change for us end users isn't "more advanced," but the perceptual experience: the same operation being broken into several layers to run, with costs/confirmation speed/failure rates seeming more unpredictable.

Before, I only needed to watch the depth of a pool and slippage, now I also have to think: which layer is congested, whether the bridge needs to queue, whether MEV bots will take advantage of your cross-chain moves to attack…
In any case, it requires more patience, but I’m naturally impatient.

Recently, there’s been a lot of debate in the group about privacy coins, mixing, and compliance boundaries, and I feel: the more fragmented the modularity, the more paths there are, and it becomes harder to clearly explain where the money is going.
In the end, it’s still best to leave yourself evidence and avoid jumping onto unfamiliar bridges you don’t understand.

What I fear most isn’t actually missing opportunities, but rather that I could have split orders to avoid slippage but chose the easier route and got slippage that leaves me with no temper.
