Co-founder and President of Anthropic PBC Daniela Amodei stated that the high costs of developing artificial intelligence models are forcing companies like Anthropic to seek public funding through an IPO. A few days ago, the maker of the AI tool Claude confidentially filed a draft registration for an IPO. "Training AI models is a highly capital-intensive business," Amodei said on Thursday at the Bloomberg Technology Conference when asked about the pros and cons of companies like Anthropic going public. She added that the public market "is very suitable for this situation." (Sina Finance)
