According to SMM, a zinc mine in Southwest China increased its zinc concentrate output by approximately 1,000 metric tons of metal in May due to higher ore grades.
Another zinc mine in Southwest China continued to suspend operations in May and plans to resume production in June, which is expected to bring an additional increase of about 500 metric tons of metal.
