You literally CANNOT make this up...

The U.S. government agency whose entire JOB is fighting invasive pests and protecting America from bug outbreaks... is currently INFESTED with BED BUGS.
The USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) the literal insect defense department has a persistent bed bug problem in its headquarters building in Beltsville, MD. They fumigated once. Staff got sick from the fumes. The bugs came back. They sent people home twice. Now they’re forcing staff back into the office (no remote work) while the little bloodsuckers keep biting.
Government efficiency at its finest.
