When your trading mindset is stable and you can calmly accept both wins and losses, holding positions, taking profits, and cutting losses become instinctive actions. But once your mindset becomes unbalanced, anxiety caused by losses, regret from missing opportunities, and unwillingness to accept floating profits can overwhelm you, leading you to start forcing profits. Frequently opening new positions, holding trades without stop-loss, adding to positions against the trend, rushing to recover losses after a drawdown... all kinds of irrational behaviors appear one after another.
