Posting a screenshot of your holdings on the square, after being called a "poor ghost"...
A few days ago, I shared my holdings screenshot on Gate Square: 0.05 shares of NVDA, 0.05 shares of ARM, with a total market value of less than $20. As a result, someone in the comment section said: "Sharing 0.05 shares? Poor ghost." "Buying such a small amount and analyzing for so long, hilarious."
Honestly, when I saw the comment, I felt a bit upset. But after calming down and thinking, why can't I share? 0.05 shares are also bought with real money, and they are the result of my careful decision-making. Does only big investors have the right to share?
Actually, small holdings have an overlooked advantage: you dare to try more strategies. I used 0.05 shares of NVDA to experiment with the "pullback buying method," and 0.05 shares of ARM to test "long-term holding without watching the market." Each experiment cost less than $10, and I wouldn't mind losing it. These experiences, when I increase my position to 1 share or 10 shares in the future, will be priceless treasures.
Those who mock small holdings might have started with small amounts themselves, just forgetting their original intention. Or they never bought anything at all, only capable of talking trash.
Later, I replied to that comment: "Thanks for your attention. When my 0.05 shares turn into 5 shares, I hope I can still see you." Then I continued sharing. Now I’ve gotten used to it—every time I post, I add a sentence: "Small amount, serious thinking." The likes I receive are increasing, and the mockery is decreasing.
The meaning of Gate Square is not about who has more money, but about who is more serious. If you write analysis carefully, share seriously, reply thoughtfully, you will naturally attract like-minded people. Those who mock you probably don’t even bother to read your posts carefully.
So, don’t be afraid to share. If you hold one share, you have the confidence of one share. If you hold 0.01 shares, you have the freedom of 0.01 shares. Trading is your own business; you can't control what others say.
