Lately, I feel like the on-chain data always seems to "lag a bit," at first I thought it was my internet connection... then I realized that often it's the indexer/Subgraph not keeping up, or RPC being rate-limited. To put it simply, what you're seeing isn't "the chain being slow," but the few bridges in between lining up: nodes responding to you, indexes syncing, caches refreshing—any one of these pauses, and the front end looks like it's frozen for a couple of seconds.
These days, everyone is talking about staking unlocks, token unlock schedules, and watching the selling pressure anxiously, but sometimes what you see as "a sudden spike/no data" might just be data source glitches, not necessarily the market flipping suddenly. I'm not regretting the outcome, but rather rushing to conclusions at the moment, acting faster than my brain. Anyway, now I prefer to wait a bit longer and switch to a different RPC to compare, keeping a calmer mindset.
