BlockBeats News, June 4th, the core team of the Cosmos ecosystem, Cosmos Labs, has acquired the Cosmos block explorer Mintscan and established a new subsidiary in Seoul, Cosmos Labs Korea, to manage several key infrastructures within the Cosmos ecosystem.

Cosmos Labs Co-CEO Barry Plunkett stated that the transaction discussions began in October of last year, and the scale of the deal, financing methods, and whether it involves the Cosmos Hub token ATOM have not been disclosed yet. After the transaction is completed, some Mintscan employees will join Cosmos Labs, and Stamper’s other business units will remain unaffected.

Mintscan currently tracks over 80 Cosmos-based blockchains. Cosmos Labs said that this acquisition will integrate Mintscan, Skip:Go, IBC Eureka, and Cosmos Hub development into a more unified architecture, and enhance the engineering development capabilities of Cosmos Hub.
