These days, I keep seeing a bunch of people staring at on-chain large transfers and hot/cold wallet movements on exchanges, interpreting it as a signal of “smart money”… I also like to watch the drama, but to put it simply, your real “smart money” in your account is not to take mnemonic phrases and signing permissions lightly. Don’t screenshot your mnemonic phrase or store it in the cloud—I'd rather you handwrite two copies and keep them stored separately; as for authorization, that part is even more annoying. Many phishing sites make their interfaces look just like the real ones, and once you sign, you effectively unscrew the wallet’s engine bolts one by one. Now every time I sign, I pause for two seconds first: is this for a transfer, or for authorization? And is the authorization limit unlimited? If you’re not sure, just skip it—missing an opportunity is more comfortable than losing your wallet… It’s a bit slow, but at least I can still sleep.
