Just now I got the urge again to chase a K-line that went from green to red, and I almost added to my position. Later, I forced myself to do a small exercise: pause for 30 seconds and ask myself one question—am I getting new information, or is emotion pushing me to act? Plainly speaking, most of the time it’s just fear of missing out, fear of being left behind.

Recently, I’ve noticed the NFT royalty debate is pretty similar too: one side says they want to protect creators’ income, and the other side says secondary liquidity matters more. After all the back-and-forth arguing, many people actually end up using it as an excuse to rationalize their own positions. Right now, I honestly keep “the facts I see” and “the storylines in my head” written down in two separate columns, and if I can’t put facts together, I don’t add them. For now, this is the way—being less prone to mistakes feels better than making a little more.
