I found that people are really strange: when their account shows a floating loss, their mind automatically shifts to night shift mode, even if they haven't sold, it feels like they've truly lost; conversely, when they have a floating gain, at most they enjoy it for two minutes, then start fearing a retracement. Basically, it's loss aversion— the pain of losing 1 dollar lasts longer than the pleasure of earning 1 dollar. The more you think before bed "should I cut it to stop the pain," the harder it is to fall asleep.

These days, the group is again talking about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and various rumors of "de-pegging coming." I see everyone's emotions get stirred up easily. Actually, many times it's not that the information is scary, but that you hold a position, and the pain point is right there—any small movement feels like a stab. My simple method: first reduce your position to a level where you can sleep, then look at those forwarded messages... otherwise, you think you're doing research, but you're actually just giving that pain point overtime.
