I find that the most outrageous thing for many people is

they can sell 90% of their youth to their boss for a monthly salary of 20k.
The boss's projects, daily meetings, coding, modeling, writing minutes,
they try to clarify every risk.
But when it comes to their own big life events, they are especially casual.
They don't do due diligence before marriage,
just get excited after talking to a few people.
They don't try out a house before buying,
don't check the property management,
don't look into liquidity,
don't research the location and amenities,
they just rush in when it looks good enough.
The most ironic thing is,
the projects you invest in for your boss are most likely not going to change your life.
But choosing the wrong partner, buying the wrong house,
could directly trap you for the rest of your life.
Many people are not incapable of investing.
They just casually throw away the biggest position in their life.
