Lately there’s been another wave of memes—celebrities shout and everyone rushes in. As a “tentacle” player, I admit I get a little anxious: no matter how the market keeps rotating, don’t cross the red line of wallet security.

Think of mnemonic phrases as a bundle of your bank card plus your ID card—don’t screenshot them, don’t store them in a cloud drive, and it’s best to copy them twice offline and keep the two copies in different places. Also don’t be too quick to approve signature authorizations. If I see things like “free claim” or “airdrop—add missing signatures,” I immediately pull my tentacles back…

I thought I was already very careful, but a couple of days ago I almost approved an authorization on a fake site. The page was made to look exactly like the real one. Luckily, I’m used to clearing old authorizations from my wallet first—only then did I notice something was off.

In short: if you can, stay neutral. Don’t hand over the keys just to become the last bag-holder waiting to receive the hit.
