Storage Market Q1 Revenue Hits Record High, SK Hynix and TSMC Deepen Cooperation

Deep Tide TechFlow News: On June 4, according to Jinshi Data, institutional data shows that AI demand is driving explosive growth in the global NAND storage market, with Q1 2026 revenue reaching an all-time high of $46 billion. In the first quarter, memory prices rose across the board; the quarter-over-quarter increases for all product categories are expected to reach new historical highs. The global semiconductor market is expected to exceed $1.5 trillion.

For industry cooperation, SK Group and TSMC’s chairman agreed to deepen collaboration in the HBM and advanced packaging fields. SK Hynix showcased a 12-layer stacked 48GB HBM4E memory. Marvell released the 102.4 Tbps switching chip Teralynx T100, claiming 25% energy savings. Pan Jiancheng from Phison predicts that the memory shortage in 2027 will be even more severe than this year.
