Poland claims to have proposed to the U.S. Secretary of Defense to establish a permanent U.S. military base in Poland

Jinse Finance reports that on June 3, according to CCTV, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said in a post on a social media platform that he has formally proposed to the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Hegses, to establish a new permanent U.S. military base in Poland. Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that the United States’ commitment to Poland’s security has not weakened; instead, it may become “more steadfast.”
