U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said at a Senate Finance Committee hearing that the Treasury is “advancing at a cautious pace” in establishing strategic Bitcoin reserves and digital asset reserves required by a Trump administration executive order, and he noted that the related work involves new technologies and new areas that require adopting best practices that can be sustained over the long term. Bessent also said that the U.S. government is pushing forward with progress on digital asset-related legislation and is encouraging support for the CLARITY Act to keep digital asset business and regulatory frameworks within the United States. The U.S. currently holds approximately 32.84 万 BTC, worth about 21.5 亿 USD. (Cointelegraph)
