Golden Finance reports that on June 3rd, the European Union proposed giving priority grid access to data centers using chips manufactured in the EU and reducing their network usage fees. The EU chip proposal aims to boost demand for domestically manufactured chips. The EU Digital Affairs Director stated that the EU cloud computing plan is likely to exclude large tech companies from key public procurement tenders.
