The messages in the group have been flying by these past two days, and all the KOLs are talking about ETF capital flows and how US stock market risk appetite can make crypto rise and fall together—just listening to it makes it so easy to feel restless and want to trade. But honestly, when it comes down to it, the impulsive buy order was ultimately just me pressing the button myself. Blaming the group for being too noisy, or blaming whoever spoke too smoothly, is really just me giving myself an excuse.

What I’m more afraid of now is that information overload will grind away my patience: I clearly wanted to pick up a couple of lesser-known protocols and build up gradually, but a single line like “the capital is back” has me chasing around… If, at that time, I’d taken a moment to check whether the TVL was actually holding up, whether the fee rates had genuine usage, and whether user retention had dropped in a way that was truly alarming, I probably wouldn’t have gotten so carried away. In any case, turning off half the notifications first makes my mindset a lot better.
