BlockBeats News, June 4 — The world's largest ETF, Vanguard's S&P 500 ETF (VOO), officially surpassed $1 trillion in assets under management, becoming the first ETF in history to reach the trillion-dollar mark. VOO's latest single trading day net inflow was $1.7 billion, with over $69 billion in net inflows year-to-date, driving its size beyond all competitors. The S&P 500 index has risen 11% since the beginning of the year and repeatedly hit new highs, even amid increased market volatility, the demand for buy-and-hold passive allocation remains strong.
